After a bit of experimentaion, I have come up with a body butter that is not greasy and feels smooth. This was just an experiment after I tried a coconut, shea butter combo that was said to be non- greasy but it was horrible and just sat on my skin shinny and slick. I did melt all of these together on stovetop and then put in the fridge to cool. i whipped it with a hand mixer but found as I used it, the whipped texture turned harder so I think I would just skip the whipping and pour it when warm. It is hard when cool, but melts on contact to fingers and skin. I went to Tasmania a few weeks ago and it was cold and windy. My face got very chapped. This butter was never intended for my face as I have oily skin, but when the chapping started on my face I tentatively tried it and as long as I kept it to my cheeks and under eye area it actually was great and I am continuing to use it on my face with great results. I used lemongrass eo but you could leave it plain. I mainly use it for the backs of my hands and the backs of my arms where I have always had those little bumps form. The arm bumps are maybe 80% less since using this combo. The tapioca starch is used to cut the greasy feel and to give a powdery finish.
